He has served on several Michigan State Bar Disabilities Committees, and was Chairman of the Great Lakes Center for Independent Living, providing services for disabled veterans and nursing home residents.
Besides his successful law practice, Steve is an accomplished athlete. He enjoys skiing, scuba diving and earned Second Place in 2010 and 2011 in the Detroit Marathon Wheelchair Division. He competes regularly in hand cycle and wheelchair races in Flint and Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has participated in races in New York and New Orleans.
